Vector Design Limited (VECTOR) was incorporated as a privately held limited liability company in Kingston, Jamaica. VECTOR entered the Personal Computer market in its infancy and established itself as one of the more innovative companies offering a full suite of services including Computer Systems Design and Hardware Maintenance, Systems Consultancy and Development, Computer Aided Design and Training.

Vector Design is a member of the Jamaica Information & Technology Services Alliance (JITSA), a body representing a working group of local IT Service Providers, Software Developers and IT Consultancy and Advisory Services. JITSA includes some of the more established companies in the Jamaica IT Services industry.

As a systems house, Vector’s breadth of experience spans areas of service including software development, network infrastructure, cloud support, business transformation, and others.

Since 1984, Vector has served across diverse industries including manufacturing, finance, retail and distribution. As one of the pioneers in the computing market, Vector has developed a wide range of experiences. Most critical has been Vector’s ability to transform itself over the years and demonstrates a “staying power” shown by its long servicing presence within the IT Services industry.

Vector’s constant adoption and development to new technologies, knowledge and skills has been the result of continuous training and upskilling of its staff in line with the pace of technology advancement.

Over the years, our major client list included notable private and public sector organizations such as Proctor & Gamble, George & Branday (now First Global Bank), Hi-Lo Food Stores, GRACE Manufacturing, Revenue Board, Pan American Health Organization, and many others. Vector also serves a number of SME organizations in pursuit of business continuity and business transformation.

Registered in 1994, Business Needs Limited (BNL) operates mainly as a project management company registered with the National Contracts Commission, providing ICT services and supplying products to corporations, government and non-government agencies. Through its affiliates and strategic partners, BNL provides seamless and quality integrated solutions.

The tight alliance between BNL and VECTOR provide customers with a one-stop shop option for ICT solutions, starting from conception through to implementation and training. This alliance also provides capabilities to handle all sized jobs from the smallest businesses through to large scale deployments, and from a simple computer repair to the more complex network infrastructure implementation.

VTI is a Training institution, registered by the University Council of Jamaica in 1997, specializing in Information Technology training. VTI is an authorized training and testing center for many of the most popular IT industry and globally recognized certifications.

VTI is also an authorized training center for Cisco, CompTIA, VMWare, the Fiber Optic Association and the Electronic Technician Association International. VTI is also an authorized testing center for Pearson Vue.

VTI offers training for a number of IT areas including Computer Architecture, Networking, Cloud Technologies, Software Engineering, Mobile App Development, Structured Cabling, etc.

The alliance between VTI and Vector Design allows us to offer high quality training for customers in the operation or maintenance of installed solutions.
